Newly available for holiday lettings, Monastery 18, or 'Gruinyards', enjoys some of the most spectacular views of Loch Ness to be found anywhere. On the top floor of the former Benedictine abbey at Fort Augustus, Gruinyards has two bedrooms and is beautifully appointed with many original features.
The apartment benefits from all the facilities of The Highland Club, making it a perfect base from which to explore the Highlands or simply enjoy Loch Ness and the Great Glen.
The open plan living-dining room has high sloping ceilings and a huge stone window that gives stunning views right along Loch Ness. There are also views over the hills to the east and the abbey cloisters to the south. The elegantly furnished living room features a fully equipped kitchen area and an oak dining table that can be extended to seat 8. There is a large screen TV with a wide range of DVDs, as well as a selection of games, maps and guide books.
The spacious master bedroom also has high ceilings and views on two sides. It is bright and airy and boasts a magnificent en-suite with a roll-top bath overlooking Borlum Hill.
